THE VISION FOR DISTRICT 2
As a lifelong resident of Sylacauga’s District 2, I understand the unique challenges and the incredible potential within our neighborhoods. I’m running for City Council to bring proactive, people-focused leadership to the table—because no one knows our community like we do.

District 2 deserves leadership that listens, serves, and leads with integrity. I’m committed to working side-by-side with our residents to bring lasting, meaningful change to our community. Together, we can build a better Sylacauga—block by block.
Community Revitalization
We must take bold action to improve the condition of our neighborhoods. I support initiatives that address blight, enforce property codes, and repurpose abandoned buildings. By reinvesting in our streets and restoring pride in our blocks, we can create a safer and more vibrant District 2.
Economic Growth & Job Opportunities
I believe in supporting small businesses and attracting new commercial investment to District 2. By cutting unnecessary red tape and partnering with local entrepreneurs, we can bring jobs, retail options, and new life to our local economy.
Infrastructure & Beautification
Our roads, drainage systems, and public spaces need serious attention. I support infrastructure upgrades, green space development, and long-term planning that prepares our city for growth while honoring its character.
Public Safety & Crime Prevention
A safer community starts with prevention. I support community policing, youth mentorship programs, and neighborhood watches that foster trust and accountability. When we fix what’s broken—both physically and socially—we prevent larger problems from forming.
Clean Streets, Safe Spaces
Vacant lots and neglected properties shouldn’t define our community. I’ll fight for consistent code enforcement, community clean-up initiatives, and smart zoning laws that protect our quality of life and attract responsible development.​
Fiscal Responsibility
As your City Council representative, I will ensure that tax dollars are used responsibly. That means focusing spending on high-impact improvements, increasing budget transparency, and making sure our investments serve the people—not special interests.
Youth Investment
Our youth are our future. I will champion after-school programs, youth sports, job training, and mentorship opportunities that offer real alternatives to crime and hopelessness. Every child deserves the chance to succeed—and it starts right here at home.
Affordable, Quality Housing
Everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to live. I will work to expand both affordable and market-rate housing options that serve families, seniors, and working residents—while also advocating for smart development that uplifts our neighborhoods.

Accessible Healthcare
No one should struggle to access medical care. I support mobile healthcare outreach, expanded senior services, and transportation assistance to ensure every resident—especially our elderly and vulnerable—can get the help they need.
